Trauma Level III

Emergency Medicine (ABEM Only):

• Coverage Needed June - ongoing

• Shift hours: 8- or 9-hour day and nights

• Biggest need is weekends, evenings and overnight coverage

• 26% of ED visits admitted

• 2% of ED patients transferred

• Fast Track in ED is single covered by a MD or APP

• Hospitalist writes admit orders

• Specialty backup: Radiology, Critical Care, Card, Pulm, GI, Neuro, Uro, Hem/Onc, Psych

• EMR: Meditech

• ABEM only

• 45 days to privilege (if clean background)
