Emergency Medicine Physician

This is a FT Locums Position

Join our emergency department in Arizona in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We are currently seeking skilled and adaptable Emergency Medicine Physicians who are either ABEM/AOBEM board certified or board eligible and have completed an EM residency. This role is ideal for providers with a passion for high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care and a strong team-oriented mindset.

• 75 ED Beds

• Annual Volume: 85,000 visits

  • 83% Adult 17% Pediatrics

• Trauma Designation: Level IV

• EMS Arrivals: 35/day

• Scribe & Advanced Practice Provider Coverage

• EMR: Cerner

• All Specialties Available except Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, ENT, and OMFS

• Shift Structure: Mix of 10- and 12-hour shifts

• Flexible Scheduling: Wide range of shift start times, weekdays and weekends

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume ED setting

• Collaborate with APPs and scribes for efficient patient throughput

• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation

• Adhere to departmental protocols and quality initiatives

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in accordance with Level IV trauma standards

• MUST be EM Residency Trained

• MUST be ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified OR Board Eligible (BE)

  • If BE, provider must be current within the 5-year window

  • If over 3 years post-residency and not board certified, a detailed explanation is required

• Minimum 2 Years of Emergency Department Experience

• Clean Credentialing File Strongly Preferred

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• DEA & Arizona Medical License (or eligibility)

Licensure Note:
Arizona is a participating state in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) expedited licensure available.

Weekdays:
6a 2p, 7a 4p, 7a 5p, 10a 7p, 11a 9p, 2p 11p, 4p 1a, 6p 4a, 8p 6a, 9p 7a

Weekends:
6a 2p, 7a 3p, 8a 6p, 11a 8p, 2p 11p, 3p 12a, 6p 4a, 8p 6a, 9p 7a

Note: Scheduling is based on departmental needs and flexibility is essential.
