Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Shift Times: 6a-6p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a (rotational schedule)
• Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends

Clinical Information:

• 36,000 Annual patient visits
• Number of beds: 159
• 36 hours of physician and 24 hours APP coverage daily
• Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
• Daily Admissions: 17
• Annual ER Admissions: 3,942
• Average Patient Census: 108-113
• Accredited chest pain center and stroke center
• Average acuity
• Support Staff: Nurses and Techs
• Common cases: Standard Emergency medicine visits

Required:

• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Active TN License
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
• Willing to consider new grads
• Required Procedures: Standard ED procedures
