The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Emergency Medicine at our Gaithersburg medical center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What You Can Expect:
- This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
- Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine Opportunities
- Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
- Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
- Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic clinical setting, including overnights, holidays, and on-call duty while supported by a team culture that values flexibility, well-being, and sustainable work-life integration
- Differential pay for physicians working all nights or all weekends
- Direct patient care
- Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams
- 8-9-10 hour shifts
- No Behavioral Health Observation
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $296,000 which considers an applicant s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
