Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
• Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
• MD Shifts: 6am-4pm, 1pm-11pm, 8pm-7am
• Full time, rotational schedule
• Duration of need: 1 year

Clinical Information:

• Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
• Annual volume: 29,280
• APP shifts: 8am-6pm, 11am-10pm, 4am-2pm
• Number of beds: 173
• Average patient census: 85-89
• Daily Admissions: 16.9
• Annual ER admissions: 3240
• Normal acuity
• Follow up cases: outpatient
• Support Staff: Nursing, APP's

Required:

• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Board Certified ABEM
• Active KY License
• Willing to consider new grads
• Required Procedures: Standard ED procedures
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
