Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- 12 hour shifts
Clinical Information:
- Support of advanced practice providers (APPs) and manage an annual volume of approximately 28,000 patients
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, evaluating and managing acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients
- Stabilize and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring resuscitation and advanced life support interventions
- Full-service, acute care hospital
Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- Active TX License
- Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
