Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Emergency Medicine
Location: Athens, OH
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a background in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine to join our Emergency Medicine program. This role is ideal for providers with at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience.
Role Details:
- Shifts: APP shifts from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Daily census: 31.6; nightly admissions: 5-6 on average.
- EMR system: EPIC.
- Specialty coverage includes Pulmonology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Interventional Radiology, and PICC line nurse support.
- ICU beds: 12.
Requirements:
- Board Certification as an NP/PA.
- Active Ohio license (or in process).
- BLS and ACLS certification prior to start.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience (required).
Compensation Options:
- 1099 : $77/hour.
- W2 : $70/hour, including benefits:
- Health/Dental/Vision (HSA included).
- $250k group life policy.
- 401k with 3% company contribution.
- $1,500 CME allowance.
