Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine to work locum shifts in Ashland, Kentucky (KY). Starting in July 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Emergency Medicine role:
- EM locum role - Day, swing and night shifts open, Minimum of 6 shifts per month
- Emergency Medicine role - Laceration repairs and I&Ds. Other procedures including intubation, central lines, and chest tubes are done by the physicians
No Fast track
Requirements of the Emergency Medicine role:
- KY state license; active, unrestricted
- Active Board certified
- KY State DEA
- Certifications- BLS, ACLS, ATLS
- Must have 2 years of PA experience working in the ED
- Must have 24 months of case logs and CMEs
