Position: Locum MD/DO Emergency Medicine
Location: Albany, New York

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for patients presenting to the emergency department
Perform medical evaluations, diagnostic testing, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and support teams to ensure efficient patient flow
Document patient encounters clearly and promptly in the electronic medical record
Participate in shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active New York state medical license (or ability to obtain)
ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications required
Strong decision-making and communication skills in high-pressure environments
Experience in a busy emergency department setting preferred
