We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team in Suffolk, VA. This position requires theability to provide comprehensive care to adult patients in an inpatient settingduring night shifts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performingcritical care procedures and possess strong clinical skills to manage a diversepatient population.
Responsibilitiesinclude providing high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients in aninpatient critical care setting, managing an average of 13 patients per daywith the potential to care for a range of 1-20 patients. The Physician Assistant will perform critical care procedures, including the placement of centralvenous lines (CVLs), hemodialysis (HD) catheters, and arterial lines. The roleinvolves conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing treatmentplans, and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant.
- Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- DEA certification.
