Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Locums - Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, NP/PA Emergency Medicine Openings Clinical Role:

•  Duration: 3 Months
•  Current shifts are: 6:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m.; 9:00 a.m. 2 7:00 p.m., 12:00 a.m. To 10:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
•  APP with Emergency Room experience, ideally level 2 or greater. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience, 2 preferred
•  10-12 shifts per month
•  Shifts do not need to be consecutive, but we need people that will be willing to work 60-120 hours a month
•  Within the month all shifts will go to 12 hours as summer ramps up in the area
•  APP will see 1.7 patients/hour on average
•  The current average of 155 patients per day in the department, this includes a pediatric average of 30 patients per day
•  Admission rate is 25%
•  Facility average is 1.55 patients per hour per provider, we see approximately 55,000 patients per year
•  We have 42 hours a day of physician coverage
