Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled andcompassionate Critical Care ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant tojoin our dynamic critical care team just 20 miles south of Boston, MA. Theideal candidate will provide advanced, high-quality care to critically illpatients in a collaborative environment that values excellence, innovation, andcontinuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct care tocritically ill patients in the ICU in collaboration with intensivists and the multidisciplinaryteam.
- Perform comprehensiveassessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and implementevidence-based interventions.
- Perform procedures such ascentral line placement, arterial line insertion, intubation, and chest tubeplacement (if credentialed and trained).
- Monitor and adjustventilator settings and manage hemodynamic instability.
- Communicate effectively withpatients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patientoutcomes.
- Participate in rounds,contribute to clinical decision-making, and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain thorough andaccurate medical records.
Requirements: - Licensed Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Certification as an AcuteCare Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years ofcritical care or ICU experience preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certificationrequired.
- Strong clinical skills andthe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ICU setting.
- Excellent communication andcollaboration skills.
