A medical facility in Richmond County, Georgia is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide high quality care in their Emergency Room.
About the opportunity:
Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday through Friday
Length: 6 months to 1 year
On call: No
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions under physician supervision
- Perform physical examinations and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist in emergency procedures and minor surgical interventions
- Document patient encounters in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocol
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education & Certification:
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience: Prior experience in emergency or urgent care settings preferred
- Citizenship: US Citizens or Green Card holders only
