This is a high-acuityrole requiring independent decision-making and procedural competency. Providersmust be willing to work both day and night 12-hour shifts, including weekendsand holidays.

Shift Details:
  • 12-hour shifts: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM
  • Shift model: 24/7 coverage
  • Minimum shifts required per month: 10-12 shifts
  • Weekend & holiday coverage: Required
  • On-call requirement: None

Emergency Department Info:
  • ED beds: 10
  • Annual ED volume: 15,000
  • Average patient load: 40-42 patients in 24 hours
  • ED patients per hour: 2
  • Admission rate: 13%
  • Trauma status: Acute Stroke Ready Hospital
  • EMR: Cerner

Requirements:
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Illinois License
  • DEA
  • ACLS
  • ATLS
  • PALS
