Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 12-31-2025
• Schedule: Three 13-hour shifts per week (7am - 8pm or 7pm - 8am), including nights, weekends, and holidays

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: 2 PA/NPs
• Patients Per Shift: 8-12
• Bed In Department: 30
• Rounding: Assigned Patients
• Procedures: Management of VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, cardiac transplant, arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter, IABP removal
• Admissions Required: Yes
• Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes
• Trauma Level: 1

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in Critical Care
• License: Must be licensed in PA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Critical care board certified APP with experience in a critical care cardiac ICU unit with specific management to include VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD and cardiac transplant
