Facility in Bath, NY seeking APP locums in the ED Obs unit locums coverage Rates: $75/hr Job Details:
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Setting: Observation Unit & Emergency Department
  • Unit Census: Observation Unit averages 2 3 patients; ED sees approx. 26 patients/day (9,500/year)
  • Shifts: 12 hours 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Coverage Model: Single-provider coverage
  • Supervision: ED physician available; APPs function independently in Obs and assist ED physician when not rounding
  • System: EPIC for documentation
  • New grads accepted
Requirements:
  • Certification: Board Certified PA or NP
  • Licensure: Active New York license and DEA
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
  • Scheduling: Must be able to work in blocks
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work both day and night shifts
