Facility Description
Mercy Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) is a licensed 2-bed hospital, officially named Mercy Hospital, Orchard Park Division, that offers 24/7 emergency care services to patients in the Southtowns. The MACC differs from an urgent care center because it is considered a hospital, and therefore, can accept ambulances and patients with acute illnesses or injuries. The MACC has access to around-the-clock cardiac and stroke services at nearby Mercy Hospital of Buffalo and all trauma is transferred to the Level I Trauma Center at ECMC Health Campus in Buffalo. MACC also provides a range of specialty care and diagnostic testing services. MACC is a part of Catholic Health, a non-profit healthcare system providing care to Western New York across a network of hospitals, primary care centers and other points of care.
