Part-Time Medical Technician EMT-B AEMT

GHR Healthcare is hiring a skilled EMT with Phlebotomy and EKGs for our client who delivers in-home medical care to patients in Kansas City, KS.

Pay: $27 per hour

Job Details:

- Will drive a van and pick up supplies and then serve as a second set of hands for the providers. Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Scope of work includes patient check in's, minor paperwork upon arrival to patient home, obtaining patient signatures on paperwork, snapping phone ID and receive insurance cards.
- Take vital signs, lab testing, EKGs, and anything basic to the plan of care including starting an IV and drawing blood when needed. Supply and stocking
Job Requirements:
Medical Technician with IV Certification
Basic Certification with KS , EMT License (hiring credential only)
Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device, are encouraged to apply.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
BLS, American Heart Association
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
