We are searching for innovative AI Engineers to join our AI Research Center in Shanghai, China, and help drive Midea's AI journey to the next level. While the role is based in Shanghai, we've posted the opportunity in the U.S. as well to engage with top AI talent.
Essential Job Duties:
- Optimization of Embodied AI Framework and Capabilities, Enhancing the Framework from Visual and Multimodal Perspectives
- Research or project experience in at least one of the following areas: Embodied AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning.
- Strong programming skills and proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C .
Qualifications:
- Graduated in AI, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, with a master's or doctoral degree, or an outstanding bachelor's degree.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with distributed training frameworks like Megatron-LM and DeepSpeed, with experience in multi-node, multi-GPU large model training, is preferred.
- Candidates with high-quality publications (e.g., RSS, ICRA, CoRL, IROS), strong academic competition experience, significant contributions to open-source communities, or solid engineering experience are preferred.
- Strong theoretical foundation, innovative mindset, and deep analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills, strong innovation capability, and problem-solving skills. A team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit.
- Working proficiency level Chinese is highly preferred.
