With a focus on continuous innovation and customer satisfaction, we are looking for an Embedded Systems Software Developer to join our team at our Euclid, Ohio headquarters.

As an Embedded Systems Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining embedded software components used in our cutting-edge products. You will leverage your engineering expertise to devise creative software solutions that address real-world challenges faced by our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop multithreaded controls using industrial Real Time Operating Systems and Embedded Linux with C and C programming.
  • Create software for communicating with industrial automation networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet/IP), Internet protocols (e.g., HTTP, FTP), and wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi and Bluetooth).
  • Design and implement software for IoT data collection, including OPC integration.
  • Develop software for embedded graphical displays to enhance user interaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing, suppliers, customers, distributors, and sales engineers to foster new product innovation.
  • Document all stages of your work, maintaining clear records such as Project Definitions, Milestone Plans, Technical Reports, and presentation materials.
  • Develop and refine test methods to support new product development and competitive benchmarking.
  • Coordinate with internal and external technical support personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
  • For a Level II Engineer: a minimum of three (3) years of relevant Engineering experience.
  • For a Level III Engineer: a minimum of five (5) years of relevant Engineering experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the initiative to take ownership of product designs are required.
