Key Result Areas:
  • Define and manage system requirements focusing on software and electronics to ensure seamless integration of complex multi-component products and systems.
  • Lead the technical development of medical devices from concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, including in-house and OEM projects.
  • Drive cross-functional technology projects with mechanical, software, and hardware teams (internal and external) to meet system-level objectives.
  • Integrate designs from development teams into fully functional systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert technical guidance through peer reviews, mentoring, and support, including patent application preparation.
  • Supervise and challenge team members to maintain high technical standards and design integrity.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts during major technical design issues, applying advanced techniques.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead hands-on development of system designs, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance from concept to production.
  • Conduct detailed design reviews with internal teams and vendors to refine architectures and meet R&D objectives.
  • Manage the entire systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, architecture, risk management, design, verification, validation, and release.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, including hardware, software, and firmware integration.
  • Manage requirements, traceability, and change control to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design integration and system-level requirements fulfillment.
  • Communicate technical updates effectively to stakeholders, including global teams, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
  • Develop and validate test protocols to ensure robust, reliable, and scalable designs adhering to safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges using methodologies like RCA, FMEA, and reliability testing.
  • Oversee technical escalations, ensuring swift resolution with sound technical rationale.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related fields, 5+ years of experience in systems/embedded engineering, and proven collaboration with project management teams. Strong expertise in system design, regulatory compliance, and experience in regulated industries are essential. Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
