Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our R&D division to help develop and refine our agricultural drones. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of firmware and hardware integration. You'll work extensively with the flight controller, integrating new sensors, optimizing control systems, and assembling complete drone platforms from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and develop firmware for Pixhawk using PX4 or ArduPilot flight stacks.
  • Assemble complete agricultural drones, including frame setup, wiring, ESCs, motors, GPS, spray systems, etc.
  • Integrate and calibrate sensors such as IMUs, GPS, flow meters, ultrasonic/radar altimeters, and more.
  • Develop and refine autonomous flight capabilities and ensure safety through rigorous testing and diagnostics.
  • Tune flight parameters, test flight stability, and analyze log files using tools like Mission Planner or QGroundControl.
  • Implement sensor fusion, localization techniques, and SLAM as needed for autonomy and precision spraying.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and control systems.
  • Contribute to version control and documentation of all firmware and system modifications.
  • Stay current with UAV regulations, new technologies, and open-source UAV ecosystem trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Tech or M.Tech. in Electronics, Robotics, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development, particularly in UAV applications.
  • Strong command of C/C , and working proficiency in Python.
  • Expertise in Pixhawk, PX4/ArduPilot stack, and UAV control systems.
  • Solid knowledge of autonomous navigation, SLAM, and sensor fusion.
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols like MAVLink.
  • Skilled in UAV hardware integration and full drone assembly.
  • Comfortable with sensor interfacing (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) and debugging firmware-hardware interactions.
  • Proven ability in UAV field testing, parameter tuning, and troubleshooting.
