Embedded Systems Architect - Hardware & Software Integration Dallas, TX
$150-175K plus bonus and excellent benefits package.
To be successful in this role: You will be a confident Embedded Systems Engineer with - 10-30 years of total experience of which 5-7 years will be in System Engineer or Systems Architect roles for embedded products.
Other requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
- Regulated embedded product industry experience such as Aviation (preferred), Medical Devices, or Aerospace/Defense, etc
- Proficiency in embedded system design, including hardware-software integration
- Understanding of system-level requirements, architecture design, and implementation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in technical teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for aviation systems would be advantageous

- Assist in developing system models, prototypes, and documentation to support design and implementation
- Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, including safety and reliability regulations
- Participate in evaluating and selecting hardware and software components for system design
- Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting processes
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in embedded systems and aviation
