Embedded Software Engineer

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $206,315 - 250,000/yr. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in embedded firmware architecture and development. In the alternative, employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in embedded firmware architecture and development. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of design experience with multiple analog and digital I/O capabilities, digital signal processing (DSP) and microcontrollers. Must have 2 years of experience in writing resource manager and devctls in QNX and other Posix based Real time operating systems (RTOS). Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in embedded firmware development, and Software/Hardware/Firmware architecture partitioning. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in Inter-device communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, Ethernet, EtherCAT, or RS232. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in digital signal processing using FFT, FIR, or IIR. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C; C ; C , Python; Embedded C, or Assembly.
