Embedded Software Engineer

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation. Telecommuting permitted. Special Requirements: Position requires at least 36 months of experience in each of the following skills: 1.Experience in a software development environment 2.Experience modifying kernel sources to meet user space application needs 3.Deep knowledge of open-source libraries or drivers, to the point of being able to modify them to meet project requirements. 4.Experience designing and implementing complex embedded software systems. 5.Proficiency in at least 4 of the following areas: Linux networking protocols, streaming media protocols, C/C , Real-time embedded systems, Linux kernel driver development, board bring-up and low-level debugging, graphics and video drivers, USB Linux driver experience.
