Our client, a leader in technology innovation, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to join their team. As an Embedded Software Engineer III, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer III
Location: Remote (US)
Pay Range: $50-70/hr W2
Contract Length: 6-18 months
What's the Job? - Design and program embedded software using C/C for development, debugging, testing, and performance analysis.
- Work with embedded hardware platforms and address clock-level issues, interrupts, and polling.
- Build software for embedded systems or custom SoCs, collaborating with multiple teams.
- Develop applications using modern Real-Time Operating Systems and hands-on coding experience with peripherals such as UART, SPI, and USB.
- Utilize lab instrumentation for debugging embedded systems at the hardware level, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
What's Needed? - Experience with embedded software design and programming in C/C .
- Familiarity with wireless and wired communication protocols, including TCP/IP and Bluetooth.
- Knowledge of compression, camera and video pipelines, or encoding technologies such as H.264.
- Experience with silicon, device manufacturing, and low-power SoCs.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping or pre-silicon environments (FPGAs, simulation, or emulation).
