Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our dynamic team, focusing on developing innovative automation solutions and diagnostic tools for satellite contact setups and validation processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to align automation strategies with the operational objectives of Kuiper and enhance the stability and performance of our testing processes. This role involves designing, implementing, and continuously improving our automation and diagnostic capabilities to support the reliability of our satellite communications network. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automation solutions for satellite contact setups and validation processes. Develop monitoring and diagnostic tools for reliability and early fault detection. Collaborate with other teams to align automation strategies with operational objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, enhancing test process stability and performance. Mentor junior engineers, contributing to code quality and best practices. Must-Have Skills: 3+ years of strong programming skills in Python. Experience with Linux and embedded platforms. Experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Industry Experience: Experience in satellite communications, aerospace, or related fields is beneficial.
