Summary of Position:

The regional email marketing coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the email marketing needs of the region to promote our services and brand.

The regional email marketing coordinator will provide support in the following areas: email creation and scheduling, list management, and reporting metrics to the region. The ideal candidate possesses strong writing, communication, and organizational skills as well as a sharp eye for accuracy, syntax, grammar, and aesthetics. They should also be highly organized and passionate about user engagement and retention. Experience in branding, design, marketing automation, conversion rate optimization, data analysis and measurement are preferred but not required.


Responsibilities of Email Marketing Coordinator:

  • Design, proofread, and schedule all mass emails for the region; this includes event invitations, internal newsletters, follow-up emails, client-nurturing newsletters, and one-time promotional emails.
  • Create and distribute approximately 15-20 emails per week for the region
  • Manage the region's HubSpot account and keep the staff and volunteer lists up to date
  • Manage and build various email lists and campaigns
  • Segment lists based on chapter assignment and role
  • Provide reports to stakeholders and make changes based upon results
  • Minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email campaigns
  • Work with staff and volunteers to drive successful execution of the email marketing strategy
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and reducing execution complexity
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to plan email campaigns in advance and in support of organizational priorities
  • Stay up to date with email marketing trends, best practices, and benchmarks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Experience with email marketing is preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation tools a plus
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form)
  • Graphic design editing experience or familiarity with Canva
  • Expertise in email marketing strategies and practices, lead nurturing, conversion rate optimization, and/or web analytics
  • Expertise with email marketing platforms and marketing automation
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge Of Systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Drupal, etc.)
  • Technical Support/Troubleshooting
