Qualifications
  1. High school graduate.
  2. Experience in use of computers and office machines.
  3. Ability to communicate with community, staff and students.
  4. Proper etiquette and techniques for dealing with the public.
  5. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
Responsibilities for Media Clerk
  1. Assists in the overall operation and arrangement of library/media center and materials.
  2. Assists students and staff in appropriate utilization of library/media materials.
  3. Assist in maintenance and upkeep of the library/media collection.
  4. Assist students and staff in checking in and out equipment and materials.
  5. Screens materials and equipment for minor damage and repairs.
  6. Maintain daily circulation record for library/media collection and collates those statistics.
  7. Manage the ordering of library/media materials, equipment and supplies.
  8. Performs clerical responsibilities for library/media center.
  9. Coordinate volunteers: schedule, manage tasks, (greet, thank you notes, etc.)
  10. Assist teachers wiht the collection of materials for classroom instruction.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by media specialist or principal.
Responsibilities for Elementary Instructional Clerk
  1. Prepare classroom materials for teachers.
  2. Playground and/or lunchroom supervision
  3. Other duties as assigned by principal.

Compensation / Benefits:
RAVE Clerical Association - Wage Group VI : $20.19 - $22.66 Hourly - According to contractual agreement (based on 2024-25 contract)
