Electronics Test Technician

Job Title: Electronics Test Technician Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire) Location: Delaware, OH (Onsite) Duties:
•  Sets up and performs tests requested by product engineers.
•  Assist with assembly of prototype units
•  Organizes and maintains a safe, clean, productive lab space.
•  Performs product tear downs and technical analysis down to the PCB level.
•  Reports findings in an organized manner.
Skills:
•  Basic working knowledge in power/electrical engineering; AC and DC power
•  Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and identification of components.
•  Strong engineering troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically.
•  Ability to operate in an electrical testing lab environment safely and successfully.
•  Very strong planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
•  Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional global development teams.
Required
•  Knowledgeable of electronics
•  Troubleshoot circuit boards
•  Nothing goes above 240 volts
•  See schematic and identify components
•  Handling equipment
Education:
•  Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products OR
•  Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 2-3 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products.
