Electronics Technician
Location: Tustin, CA
We're hiring an Electronics Technician to support a fast-moving electric vehicle company on a mission to redefine sustainable transportation. Join a cutting-edge team that designs and tests next-generation automotive technologies in a hands-on lab environment. This opportunity is offered on an initial 6 month contracting basis. As a w2 contract worker you are eligible to a benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k vehicle and more.
Hourly rate: $30-35/hr
What You'll Do:
- Support shipping/receiving of electronic components and test equipment
- Manage inventory and kit parts for assembly and rework
- Perform PCBA modifications: soldering/de-soldering, blue wire fixes (IPC-610 Class 3)
- Build wire harnesses (IPC/WHMA A-620C) and assemble ECU modules
- Set up and build test equipment from engineering drawings
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of technician experience in electronics/engineering labs
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong soldering and harnessing skills (fine pitch ICs, 0402 components)
- Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, e-loads, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Jira and Python are a plus
- IPC certifications (IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711/21, J-STD-001) are a plus
- EV experience is a bonus but not required
