Electronics Technician I with Security Clearance

Salary Statement Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $22.88/Hr. - USD $38.13/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States with various environment to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards Reading and interpreting drawings or schematics to assist with system installations Working within Naval Shipboard cable-ways requiring removal or installation of various cable types Working in harsh shipyard environments which includes: climbing ladders, ramps, being around loud noises due to grinding or drilling, and working in spaces with varying temperatures Being able to follow direct instructions for daily tasks Being able to work under supervision, as each task will need to be checked for quality Requirements 2-5 years of related or direct shipyard work experience OSHA 10hr Maritime: Shipyard Environment - Active Certification Card (must be able to provide) MCT Opening/Closing Desired Skills Firewatch certified Cable Fabrication assembly experience with the following types of cables: RF, CAT5/6, Heliax, & Multi-pin MIL-STD Cannon Plugs Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements 0-5% CONUS About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
