We're looking for an Electronics Engineer who can use their skills to apply advanced te chn ical solutions in support of law enforcement investigations. Our team performs a wide range of te chn ical examinations required to successfully exploit both commer cia l and custom electronic devices, including reverse engineering and characterizing both the electrical function and communication characteristics of electronic circuits while using complex instrumentation to test circuit function and extract relevant electronic data. You Have: 20+ years of experience testing electronic or electrical devices with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, RF signal generators, waveform generators, audio analyzers, DSP analyzers, and multimeters
20+ years of experience performing analysis, generating schematics, and troubleshooting electronic or electrical devices to the component level in various c ond itions
Experience developing and teaching courses to military, federal, state, and local EOD, Bomb Te chn i cia ns, and other Counter-IED professionals
Experience developing, reviewing, and publishing documents such as SOPs and guidelines, that adhere to ISO or IEC 07025 Forensic Testing Laboratory Accreditation
Knowledge of electronic circuit design and PCB layout
Knowledge of physical interfaces used for inter-IC communication, including I2C, SPI, LPC, or PCIE
Ability to prepare written documents, including reports, test plans, design specifications, requirements documents, and training materials
Ability to brief and present findings to clients, customers, and external partners, interact with client engineers, and resp ond to te chn ical questions and requests from customers
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Nice If You Have: Experience with Chain of Custody and evidence handling procedures in a forensic laboratory
Experience imaging, extracting, and parsing data from electronic devices
Experience with reverse engineering tools, including IDA Pro, OllyDbg, or Ghidra
Knowledge of microcontroller architecture, including ARM or RISCV, and assembly language programming Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
