TGS seeking 2 skilled and motivated Data Engineer / Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineers to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) under the SHEELD (Spectrum and Hardware Engineering for Electronic Warfare and ELINT Development) program. This role is ideal for consultants with a strong background in Technical ELINT (TechELINT), emitter characterization, and experience working with the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB) and Common Emitter Database (CED). Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret TechELINT data to support the development of threat system models and emitter characterization. Develop, update, and validate emitter entries in the EWIRDB to support mission data file (MDF) generation and EW system performance. Utilize CED tools to manage emitter data and ensure consistency across EW databases. Collaborate with government and contractor teams to support reprogramming efforts and threat assessments. Participate in lab and field testing to validate EW system capabilities and database accuracy. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
4-6 years of experience in Electronic Warfare, TechELINT analysis, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience with EWIRDB development and emitter modeling.
Proficiency with CED tools and emitter data correlation techniques.
Strong understanding of radar systems, RF propagation, and signal processing.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting other DoD EW programs.
Experience with scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
