We are seeking a skilled Component Engineer to join our client's team and play a critical role in supporting technical aspects of electronic and electro-mechanical components. This role involves collaborating with sales, purchasing, quality control, and customers to provide expert advice, validate components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Technical Support: Act as the primary technical resource for inquiries about electronic and electro-mechanical components, including specifications, compliance, part number verification, and lifecycle analysis.
•   Customer Engagement: Provide expert assistance to customers, offering solutions and support for part design-ins and replacements.
•   Component Validation: Inspect, validate, and troubleshoot component-related issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
•   Testing and Analytics: Collaborate on testing procedures and data analysis projects to verify component performance and authenticity.
•   Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical reports, test procedures, and customer-facing documentation.
•   Communication: Work directly with manufacturers to resolve technical issues and obtain critical documents.
Core Competencies:

•  Proficient in understanding electronic component datasheets, schematics, and circuit design.
•  Experience with component manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
•  Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
•  Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
•  Practical experience with electronic assemblies and analog/digital electronics is advantageous.
•  Comfortable with prolonged periods of stationary work and repetitive motions.
•  Familiarity with electronic testing instruments and methodologies.
