Reporting to Operations, the Electromechanical Technician will carry out the setup and on-site support of test cells at customer locations, delivering a high standard of service that consistently fulfills and surpasses client expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to perform various installation and field service support activities;
- Assemble and wire various mechanical and/or electrical equipment according to drawings;
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform tests, verifications and troubleshooting;
- Compare design and installation drawings to ensure correct execution with the latest up-to-date plans;
- Assemble, wire and test control panels from wiring and physical layout plans provided by the engineer. Work with the engineer to resolve any identified design and/or drawing issues;
- Support engineering activities such as the testing, verification, modification, manufacture and assembly of specialized test equipment;
- Support site teams during engine testing;
- Help determine the methods or actions to be implemented to remedy malfunctions;
- Research and find original and alternative approaches to production problems;
- Follow the procedures and quality standards in force;
- Understand and follow all safe work practices, applicable third party safety training and any job site specific safety training provided/required by our customers;
- Support the Service Center department as instructed to assist in all after-sales service activities.
Your background and strengths:
- Technical degree in electro-mechanic;
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems;
- 2 years' experience in a similar position;
- A strong sense of customer service and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner;
- Strong communicator.
