Job Title: Monitoring Technician
Location: Norfolk, VA 23502 (Local candidates only - hybrid after training)
Duration: 12+ Months (W2 Contract)
Certifications Required (Any ONE of the following):
- CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- EMT/Paramedic with active ACLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and analyze ECG transmissions at the Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry Center
- Interpret ECG data and generate clinical reports
- Review ECGs for abnormalities and escalate as per protocols
- Maintain clinical accuracy and quality in ECG interpretation
- Communicate with patients and physicians when needed
- Support EMS activation processes as required
- Follow WE CARE customer service standards
- Perform all duties in compliance with internal policies and procedures
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of relevant experience
- Active certification as CCT, CRAT, RN, or EMT/Paramedic with ACLS
Technical Skills:
- Strong computer proficiency is mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Familiarity with Google Classroom is a plus
- Ability to train in a remote/online environment
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a high-paced call center environment
- Positive team-player attitude and strong customer service focus
Training & Hybrid Details:
- Training Duration: 3-4 weeks (onsite, day shift only)
- Ramp-Up Period: 12 weeks onsite
- Post-Ramp: Eligible for hybrid schedule

- 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
