Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour (W2 Contract)


Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Electro/Mechanical Assembler II to join our innovative team supporting a leading public sector agency in the medical technology field. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the assembly, testing, and inspection of electro-mechanical devices, contributing directly to the production of life-changing medical technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a regulated manufacturing environment, with exposure to advanced production processes and industry-leading quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-assemblies and full system-level hardware components.
  • Perform in-process testing and inspection of sub-assemblies and hardware.
  • Accurately complete Device History Record (DHR) documentation.
  • Support packaging functions in manufacturing operations.
  • Follow assembly instructions, mechanical drawings, and test procedures.
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering irons.
  • Operate inspection and electrical testing equipment (calipers, indicators, multimeters).
  • Maintain compliance with Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO standards, and EH&S policies.
  • Support daily manufacturing and service requirements in line with production forecasts.
  • Assist in internal audits and promote continuous workplace improvements.
  • Train peers and share technical knowledge as needed.
  • Contribute to workplace safety initiatives and risk mitigation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Background in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices preferred).

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
