Position: Electrical Engineer Location: Wilmington, Delaware Work Type: Freelance (On-site Support) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the survey, design, and installation of dedicated electrical circuits for a commercial facility in Delaware, USA. The engineer will be responsible for conducting an initial site survey, planning the installation, and executing the work according to electrical standards and safety regulations. This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical wiring, circuit installations, and working with electrical panels. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct an onsite survey to assess the existing electrical infrastructure and determine installation requirements. - Develop a detailed installation plan based on the survey, including circuit routing, panel connections, and load calculations. - Install (3) dedicated 120V, 20A circuits on the first floor and (3) dedicated 120V, 20A circuits on the second floor. - Install a total of six (6) dedicated quad receptacles and ensure proper connectivity to the electrical panel on the 1st floor. - Ensure all installations comply with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and local building regulations. - Perform circuit testing, load balancing, and troubleshooting to confirm proper operation. - Work collaboratively with project managers, facility teams, and any required technicians. - Provide a completion report including installation schematics, test results, and recommendations. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience. - Licensed Electrician certification is preferred. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, wiring, and circuit planning. - Strong knowledge of 120V, and 20A circuit installations, electrical panels, and receptacle wiring. - Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and permit processes. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Must have the ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in commercial building environments.
