This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services. The Industrial Electrician will also routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components in order to ensure the continued safe, efficient, and effective operations of all equipment and fixtures utilized by the organization. Shift work, including weekends, will be required.
- Electrical Knowledge with Electrical License preferred
- Computer Skills
- Familiar with ladder logic
- Familiar with Inverter/Drives
- Familiar with computer programs
- Ability to reason and troubleshoot electrical problems
- Ability to take information and make a good decision about equipment failures and repairs
- Able to source parts if necessary
- Ability to be on call when necessary
- Able to communicate with outside sources for repairs of elec. systems not seen or under our control
- Ability to understand and work with Low and Medium Voltages and the knowledge of High Voltage
- Able to operate all equipment in area
- Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to make reports, keep records and give performance appraisal/evaluation input on employees to the supervisor
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds
