Electrical site Supervisor

1. Pre-Construction Planning

• Review electrical designs and single-line diagrams for WtE plant components (e.g., incinerators, boilers, turbines, flue gas treatment systems).

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) and BS EN 61439 (low-voltage switchgear).

• Develop method statements and risk assessments for high-risk tasks (e.g., HV cable installations, confined space work).

Skills & Qualifications

1. Mandatory Certifications:

   1. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).

   2. CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor) or Black Card (Manager).

   3. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.

   4. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
