The Traveling Electrical Site Safety Coordinator to support large-scale electrical data center construction projects across the U.S. This position is critical in promoting and enforcing our client's safety culture and ensuring full compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-tech construction environments, is comfortable working on the road, and is passionate about keeping people safe on mission-critical jobsites.
Responsibilities - Serve as the on-site safety lead for electrical crews at data center construction projects.
- Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans, in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, job hazard analysis (JHAs), and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain safety documentation, including training records, audits, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other applicable safety codes and regulations.
- Support orientation and safety training for new hires and subcontractors on site.
Qualifications - 3+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in electrical or data center environments
- OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, or other safety certifications are a plus
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety protocols
- Proven ability to manage safety on fast-paced, multi-trade construction sites
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel full-time and adapt to new project sites quickly
