Summary
Due to growth of local contracts, NG Bailey Facilities Services is recruiting a Mobile Electrical Technician to support our contracts in the Surrey Region, providing PPM and reactive maintenance.
The successful candidate will have a background in electrical maintenance with relevant and current qualifications.
This is a mobile role; therefore, a UK driving license is required, as a company van will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance related primarily to electrical & mechanical building services plant and systems, in line with agreed programmes and SLAs to meet client and statutory compliance.
- Complete remedial works identified through PPM work and reactive requests.
- Perform planned, reactive, and small works such as emergency light testing, HVAC PPM, lighting upgrades, office refurbishment, motor installations, and fault diagnosis on building services equipment.
- Maintain premises to a high standard.
- Keep all site documentation up to date and maintain compliance records for electrical systems, which will be regularly audited by internal or external parties.
- Assist with supervising subcontractor works, ensuring compliance and adherence to H&S standards when required.
- This position is Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30, with a call-out rota of 1 in 6.
Qualifications and skills required:
- NVQ Level 2-3 (Electrical discipline) or equivalent (City and Guilds)
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- C&G 2391 / AM2 (advantageous)
- Ability to undertake remedial and reactive repairs with minimal supervision
- IOSH Working / Managing Safely (desirable)
- Safe System of Work procedures such as PTW, RAMS (desirable)
