Electrical Construction Manager Residential Project (Southwark) £34 per hour 9 hours per day CIS Basis We re recruiting on behalf of a growing M&E contractor who are delivering a high-spec residential project in Southwark and are now looking to bring on board an experienced Electrical Construction Manager.
This role will see you take ownership of the electrical package from preconstruction through to completion, managing on-site delivery and coordinating with subcontractors and the wider project team. You ll report into a Contracts Manager, who will be on-site weekly to support.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is progressing to programme and to quality standards
- Coordinate electrical installation works, overseeing subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor and enforce health & safety and site compliance
- Ensure project documentation and records are up to date
- Attend site meetings and liaise with other trades and management to ensure smooth project delivery
- Support testing, commissioning and handover phases
Requirements: - Strong background as an Electrical Construction Manager on residential schemes
- Experience managing electrical packages from preconstruction through to completion
- Ability to take the lead on-site with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
