Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO Relocation Assistance: None available at this time Remote/Telework: NO - Not available for this position Clearance Type: DoD Secret Shift: Day shift (Mon-Fri) Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time Description of Duties: The Electrical Maintenance Technician supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Perform circuit component repair and/or replacement.
• Installation of light fixtures and switches.
• Installation of electrical receptacles.
• Power connections for systems' furniture. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to performing or assisting with the following facility modification taskings:
• Furniture systems demolition, installation, removal, and reconfiguration.
• Carpet replacements.
• Ceiling grid repair/reconfiguration.
• Tacking and updating work orders in a Windows based system.
• Other tasks as assigned are occasional escorting of personnel. Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. The selected candidate may be assigned as an employee for one of our teammate companies. Basic Requirements: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 4 years of general experience; Master's degree and 2 years of general experience
• Minimum of 8 years' experience with common electrical tasks and tools.
• Must have a current Colorado Journeyman Electrical License.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Candidate must have, or be able to obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with Windows based work order systems. This position is expected to pay $47,300 - $72,300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
