Electrical Maintenance Technician
Summary:
The Electrician position consists of installing, repairing, and maintaining plant electrical systems and equipment throughout the Canton locations with minimal supervision.
Job Core Responsibilities:
Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.
The ability to troubleshoot and repair 480 volts.
3 phase and control circuits.
DC crane control knowledge.
Read electrical schematics as well as light welding and burning experience is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years.
Skills:
- Ability to locate an electrical issue, trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair any variety of electrical equipment or systems.
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to diagnose equipment issues.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings and wiring.
- Must have thorough working knowledge of the current version of the electrical code.
- Demonstrated experience using mathematics and standard electrical formulas.
- The ability to work well independently with a focus to get things done right.
- Ability to multitask while staying organized.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
