Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Long Marston
This is an opportunity to join a leading recycling company specializing in the collection, processing, and recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), and white goods. We are seeking experienced electrical bias Maintenance Engineers to perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery including conveyors and shakers to maintain process flow.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance.
- Upgrade and modify systems to ensure longevity of operations.
- Provide daily support and resolution of production issues and implement suggestions for improvement.
- Check generator/FLT battery.
- Support external audits.
- Assist in closing any KMI points.
- Attend to breakdown issues and solve them in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform other duties as the Company may reasonably require.
- Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Strong electrical knowledge.
- Good understanding of PLC diagnostics.
- Proven fault-finding on electrical circuits.
- Experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations.
- Ability to work with electrical drawings.
- Good computer skills.
