Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Journeyman Level Technician
Location: Pensacola, FL area

We are seeking a Journeyman-level Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with a minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, including motors, transformers, PLCs, and control panels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with PLCs, AC/DC variable speed drives, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, and power distribution systems
- Interpret and update electrical schematics, loop diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, National Electric Code (NEC), and company safety policies
- Document all work performed accurately and completely
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) (Certification not required)
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Proficient in working with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and switchgear
- Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical E&I training preferred
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Occasional overtime required for special projects
- Participation in rotating on-call list
Pre-Employment Requirements:
