Job Description
Electrical
- Design of electrical systems including power, distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Develop project specifications, electrical load calculations.
- Site survey and prepare Electrical design Basis Reports.
- Review and prepare specifications for MCC, LV, ENMC LCS etc.
- Develop / review vendor data sheets LV motors, LCS, Lighting and Fixtures etc.
- Generate load list and cable sizing, Illumination, SLD and small power DB's etc.
- Prepare typical installation drawings such as Earthing layout, Lightning, Lighting, and power layouts.
- Experienced in Substations design.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Analyse electrical requirements and perform system calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools.
- Prepare and review electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings for high and low-voltage systems.
- Assist in the selection and specification of electrical equipment to meet project requirements and operational needs.
- Perform power system studies and analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations.
INSTRUMENTATION
- Field survey and prepare instrument design basis reports.
- Perform specification of DCS, LT, LV, JB, local and field instruments.
- Experience in instruments hook-up drawings preparation.
- Sizing of Orifice, control valve etc.
- Pannel sizing, preparation of I/O list, cable schedule, termination drawings etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industries.
- Strong Knowledge of International codes & standards and refinery standard specifications.
- Proficiency in Electrical design and analysis tools using ETAB, AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D Electrical.
- Conduct Feasibility studies and FEED development.
- Perform detailed calculations and analysis for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for electrical and instrumentation systems.
