Electrical Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced machinery at customer facilities. This role requires 95% travel across North America, with assignments that may last up to two weeks at a time, including occasional international travel for training and support.
Responsibilities:
- Install, wire, and commission new machinery, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Lead rigging teams during installation and oversee project completion.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on existing equipment.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on best practices for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system audits, and technical service on company machinery.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years in electrical maintenance, service, or field engineering.
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Expertise in electrical controls, PLCs, motors, and drives.
- Proficiency with computer-based control systems and basic networking.
- Customer service-oriented.
